I am a huge fan of Stormy Glenn stories ! She has us drooling with her amazing sexy times, and there is always an intriguing plot, bad guys, suspense, rescue, and sizzling sex. Oh, did I say sex twice already? This story is no different. Our scrumptious characters are here in book three of the adventures and love of Sal and Lany. Italian, Lt. Sal Delvecchio is a big hunk of a SWAT Team leader, and he set his sights on Lany, the small, beautiful, long haired son of the Police Commissioner. We've loved them previously and again we see them get into some trouble, but work together to resolve the tangled web the story tells. Here we see the parents and brother Sal hasn't seen in twenty years, when they threw him out for being gay. All this time, his evil parents kept his brother from him, and now he finds out he has a nephew, Cole. His brother was in an accident, but it was a set up, and Sal had gotten hurt in a work case. The hospital kept mixing up the two Delvecchios, causing lots of problems. Plus the hit man sent after his brother, tries to hurt Sal, and Lany steps in front of him. This is fast paced, exciting, super sexy, and fun. The guys are so funny, snarky, and sassy in their banter, I get the biggest kick out of this pair.It is 144 pages of thrills ! Yes, it is book three in the Hot Mess saga, but each could stand alone. Although I can't imagine not reading all three of the tales with this duo.

I love reading books, but I hate writing reviews. That being said, I rate this book Story 5/5 stars. Heat level 5/5 stars.
Loved the first two and love this one too! Please keep the series going, I want to know about Sal's brother, Cole, Lyn, and the rest of the squad. Also possible kids in Lany and Sals future.
This is the only one of this five part trilogy that gets a 5 star rating from me. This one had the fewest untranslated Italian sentences or phrases.
T-R-O-U-B-L-E that’s exactly what Lany is. This third addition to the series takes us on another adventure, another missed anniversary, and so much more. I love this series.
I debated a while about this series, but I'm glad I gave in. It is a stand alone but you really need to read it from the get go to get to know Lany and Sal. They are a Hoot! It has the action the you want and the laughs. I think I see the beginnings of a couple of more books coming but not with Lany and Sal but with the rest of the team and Eddie and Burke. I definitely recommend this series, you won't regret it.
Sometimes books that don't require much thought are just the thing. I liked the characters and finished the book with a smile on my face.
I could do with a vacation from reality every now and then and this book provided just that. Moreover, the vacation came with a mini lesson in Italian. Mind you, the words can only be used in intimate settings, but it doesn't hurt to learn a little something. Grazie Stormy.
I enjoy reading about Sal and Laney, and I find the third book to be just as interesting as the first two books. Ever since Sal rescued Laney from a beat down in the first book in the series, they've been inseparable. I never seen someone have so much bad luck in celebrating their anniversary. All the bad luck and mishap that happen to them, it hasn't cause one single ripple in their relationship, now that is true love. I'm getting ready to read the fourth book in this series, to see what happens with next with Sal and Laney. If you love danger and romance, I recommend the Hot Mess series.
